Shirley J. Lewis is Real Estate Broker licensed by the Department of Real Estate. DRC brokers residential and commercial loans and provides real estate sales services.
Mrs. Lewis was appointed by the Governor in 2001 as a member of the California Small Business Board which provides advice to the administration on matters concerning small business. As a Board Member, she also oversees California Financial Development Corporations which guarantees loans for at-risk small businesses.
Mrs. Lewis is also the California Assistant State Director for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the largest small business organization in the United States with over 35,000 of its members in California. As Assistant State Director, Mrs. Lewis acts as NFIB's chief lobbyist and is also responsible for operations within the State Legislative Office in Sacramento.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Sasebo, Japan and attended both Japanese and American schools. She has studied at Southern California University for Professionals, University of Davis Extension Program and Solano Community College.
